What is Shiatsu?

The therapeutic potential of Shiatsu was rediscovered in Japan in the early nineteenth century was Tamai Tempaku who developed the current technique of Shiatsu.

Shiatsu is a therapy that works with a gentle pressure on certain points in the body but primarily focusing on both sides of the spine. It is a type of massage is convenient because the patient need not undress. The patient usually lie on the floor or on a surface that is not too soft.

The Japanese and Chinese medical theory are the sources of Shiatsu.
Like Acupuncture is part of that acting on certain parts of our body can cure or ameliorate many diseases.
The pressure points are applied in coordination with the patient’s breathing in this way to get greater relaxation and better “flow” of Energy.
It has been shown that prevention, maintenance and improvement of overall health are factors that impact on Shiatsu, is considered so effective in the field of preventive medicine, lack of side effects.
