Cupping TherapyThe cupping is an ancient therapeutic method of Traditional Chinese Medicine employs more than 3,000 years. It consists of applying cups or glasses in the form of suction cups on certain energy points of the body described by Acupuncture.

The Chinese and Egyptians used it, and Hippocrates and Galen were defenders of their numerous benefits. In Europe and America, doctors began using it in the early nineteenth century and has since been confirmed clinically what had been observing for more than three million: that the cupping (the cup, “cup” in English) or “therapy Chinese cups “provides many benefits, both physical and psychological.

This therapy has been used successfully to treat various ailments including allergies, some cases of asthma, muscle atrophy, cellulitis, sciatica, depression, anxiety and emotional problems, skin ailments, muscle and joint pains, menstrual pain, abdominal pain , constipation and other digestive and intestinal disorders, stress, fatigue, hypertension, inflammation, insomnia, headaches, circulatory problems, respiratory problems (colds, coughs, congestion, etc..), overweight and varicose veins.

One option is to place the suction cups and leaving them so motionless on the skin between 10 and 15 minutes. This is done to treat illnesses with cough, some cases of asthma and, in general, respiratory diseases.
