The goldenrod is a herbaceous plant that can reach average heights of about one meter. The binomial name that corresponds to this species is the virgaurea Solidago. One of the features of the goldenrod is the presence of such alternate leaves and pubescent. The leaves of this plant are based on type stem, while the higher are lanceolate. The flowers of goldenrod are yellow and have a peripheral termination. As a result, the goldenrod plant gives a small achene.

The basic therapeutic use goldenrod plant may be in the form of decoction or fluid extract.
